The benefit plan recently had it's first renewal under the new plan, Retire Alberta. The plan has attracted members from all manner of occupations including the airline industry, education, municipal and provincial employees as well as first responders from across the province. The plan has grown to over 300 members and that has allowed the plan premiums to actually slightly decrease. We have also been able to increase the dental coverage from $1,000 to $1,250 per person as that was some of the feedback we received from members regarding the coverage. There is also an enrollment period for April and May 2020 extended to Calgary, Edmonton, and Lethbridge Police and Fire which means they can sign up for full benefits immediately even if they didn't have a previous plan within the last 60 days.
